Wholesale wallboard is a generic term for wholesale gypsum board used in construction for covering walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. It is also known as drywall, plasterboard or by the brand name of "Sheetrock". Wallboard / gypsum board has a gypsum core with coarse paper on the back and a smooth paper on the finish side.

Wholesale wallboard / wholesale gypsum board is available in 4ft x 8ft, 4ft x 10ft, 4ft x 12ft and 4ft x 16ft sizes. 1/2 inch thick wallboard / gypsum board is typically used for 16 inch on-center framing for walls and ceilings and 5/8 inch thick wallboard / gypsum board is used for 24 inch on-center framing.
